After an 11 Year service in the Australian Army I sustained permanent injury whilst on duty and was medically discharged from service.

During this time, my service included:
  • Service with the 10th Battalion Royal South Australian Regiment (10RSAR) with the Royal Australian Infantry (RAINF)
  • Service as a Military Policeman with the 4th Military Police Company (4MPCoy) Royal Australian Corps of Military Police (RACMP) and;
  • Royal Military College (RMC)/Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) Officer Training posting with the Adelaide University Regiment (AUR).

On the 30th September 2008 at the Australian High Commission in Atlanta, I was presented the Australian Defence Medal by Consul-General of Australia Amanda Hodges for my contribution to the Defence of Australia.
